Where Angels Bow

There is a place beyond the clouds

where children never cry

Where no one fights, the sun always shines

and where no souls ever die

The streets are lined with gold I hear

Won’t that be a glorious sight?

And I’ll be in awe as I enter those gates

as I’m welcomed by the most Beautiful Light

As I walk the streets of this perfect place

I’ll not remember sorrows or mirth

It will be replaced by the peace I once searched

while living on an imperfect Earth

I will rejoice with my family who waits for me

I’ll rejoice with old neighbors and friends

For I’m now in the place where Angels bow

and where time and joy never ends

I don’t put my faith in earthly things

for they will one day fade away

But, I trust the word of my God above

and the promises to me that He’s made

So have no fear while here on Earth

It’s not our final destiny

But follow his greatest commandment while here

To love one another unconditionally.
